Wednesday 23, 3.30 pm departure on foot from Arbuticci battery -  Garibaldi memorial. Follow the old military road up to the battery. Then about 2 hours of visit followed by a snack and ascent before the sunset around 7.

Mandatory  an adequate supply of water and shoes suitable for walking on uneven ground.

We will be accompanied by a guide, who will also show us normally off-limits areas of the fortification.

Cost €20 for members, €30 for any guests. Maximum number 25 people

To get to the Garibaldi Memorial there are two possibilities:

• 8-seater van departing from Cala Gavetta (ferry arrival from Palau to Maddalena)
